Chyna

This is Chyna...aka "The Big Show".  She is a Flemish Giant.  She was living in an abandoned house in West Virginia.  She had to battle rats for her food.  She had fleas and mites.  She is terribly underweight.  She weighs in just about 20 pounds.  This picture really does not give a true sense of how large this girl is.  Our target weight for her is about 26 pounds.  She initially came into rescue with Leo the Lop Rabbit Rescue and then transferred here.  We finished up her treatments for mites and have started working on her weight.  She is a real handfull.  She is very strong and doesn't seem to realize her strength.  She enjoys meal time immensely...but enjoys nothing more than an all over body massage.  She just flattens out and relaxes...and gets upset only when you stop petting her.  A Flemish, while not the bun for everyone, is quite a treat to have around.
