Coal & Princey
These Havana twin brother, Coal and Princey (a.ka. C-Man and P-Man) were found outside without any protection at all after a breeder cold out. They were near death and hypothermic because the temperature. In attempt to survive in the below-freezing temperatures they dug a hold in the ground and snuggled together. They arrived here on New Year's Eve in 2000. They have never been separated; they live in their own little world. Both (especially Princey) became ill a couple years ago due to some contaminated hay, but both survived. They prefer each other's company over other rabbits'. They enjoy petting--on their terms. They are sanctuary rabbits due to their social skills and age. In this picture, Princey is on the left.
