Dusty

Dusty is a Harlequin mix.  He was found in a small town...sitting motionless in the middle of the street.  It appears that he was released by a breeder that is in the area.  It makes sense since he could not father any more baby bunnies due to a seriously infected testicle.  We feared it was cancerous.  He was very frightened, hungry and dehydrated coming into rescue.  We knew surgery should be performed as soon as possible so he went on a crash course with food, hydration and antibiotics in an effort to get him as prepared as possible for surgery.  The surgery was a success and a biopsy showed only a severe infection.  He is recovering.  This photo is of Dusty coming into rescue.
