Noah

This beautiful blue-eyed Hotot is Noah.  She is named in honor of, and comes to us courtesy of,  The Ark Animal Hospital in Surfside Beach, SC.  They provided emergency treatment that saved her life.

We feel Noah was an Easter bunny that was "set free."  She nearly starved and then got hit by a car.  A compassionate lady saw what happened and took the time and effort to help this little girl.  We got the call shortly after she was admitted to The Ark.  We didn't know if she would survive.

When we got to see her, she was a battered little bunny in a lot of pain.  Her front legs were injured, she had all sorts of injuries all over her body...including a jaw broken in at least 2 places.  She stayed at The Ark for a few days to start her recovery and then she was transferred to Sabrina's House.  She continued her recovery but developed problems due to the broken jaw.

She underwent a very difficult and painful surgery to extract the incisor teeth that were now maloccluded due to her broken jaw.  She just had another surgery to further repair her molars.  She will face major dental work every few months for the rest of her life.

She is unbelievably lovable and will sit with you for hours....unlike most Hotots.  She allowed me to hold her for the entire trip to the vet for her surgery.  She also is unusual with those piercing bright blue eyes.  She has never been aggressive to any person or rabbit.

Due to her serious complications from her accident, she is not available for adoption but she would appreciate a sponsor to assist with her large and ongoing medical bills.
