Peter

Peter, an older English Spot. He came from the Greene County Animal Shelter (Show Hill, NC) He lost his home in a fire recently.  His family didn't have time for him as they try to put their lives back in order. He is a very sad rabbit and is not in very good physical condition.

His fur feels almost like steel wool. His nails are long and brittle. He also has a weepy eye... probably pasteurella that was not properly treated. We are starting on treating him immediately and he will be available for adoption as soon as we get him healthy. He does appear to be a very sociable rabbit overall...but he is very stressed out right now. Some of his issues appear to be nutrition related and we have already started him on a proper rabbit diet.
