Rocky & Bullwinkle

Talk about an odd couple.  Bullwinkle is the tan and white lop and Rocky is the gray American Fuzzy Lop.  Both these buns were rescued by our good friends at Rock-N-Roll Rabbitry in Clayton, NC and were transferred to us for medical treatment.  These are both unaltered males that bonded immediately...and that is almost unheard of.  There has never been any aggression from either.  Bullwinkle is a senior gentleman.  He has problems with his teeth...in fact his upper incisors have just fallen out.  Without the upper teeth, the lower teeth will grow too long.  They require trimming about every week.  Rocky has some major problems with his legs.  Our initial impression is that they have been broken, were not properly treated and repaired themselves in a splayed condition.  Two of his legs are pushed back in unusual positions and are virtually useless.  Despite this, he can still move quite well and has even does "binkeys' during play time.  It seems that both these rabbits know they have been given a second chance and relish the chance to live.  They have been invited to spend the rest of their lives with us.  While they have physical issues...they have tremendous personalities and are quite a thrill to have here.
