Sierra
This is Sierra. She was rescued in a joint "commando" raid in conjunction with Cape Fear House Rabbit Society in Wilmington, NC. We were actually visiting Cape Fear HRS when a call came in from a pizza driver. He had seen what he thought was a domestic rabbit in a yard near a very busy intersection....suitably named Military Cutoff. He gave very detailed information. We were on the scene in minutes...finding the rabbit immediately and we "acquired the target" without any difficulty. We found this little beauty out in the wild all by herself...very scared. She seemed to be relieved that she had been rescued. A couple of days later, she had a litter of little ones. She is a great bun and has been adopted to a very special "forever home". She has been reunited with one of her babies.
